It has been five years since the hashtag #metoo took the world by storm, gave women the courage to share their stories and made everyone step back and examine the workplace power dynamics. In honor of Women's History Month, we took a look back at the inception of the movement, the reaction, and the long-term impact. The panel included Buchanan's Lloyd Freeman, Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer and Jaime Tuite, Shareholder and head of the firm's Pittsburgh office, along with Erin Linehan, Chief Compliance Officer, Fin-Op and Global Functions Compliance Associate General Counsel at Raymond James and Rhonda Jordan, EVP/ Chief Human Resources Officer at Virtua Health.

The group discussed how workplace policies have been enhanced since the movement gained widespread attention and what the new federal legislation means for employers.
