On September 18, the Department of Defense ("DoD") released the "2018 Department of Defense
Cyber Strategy," which supersedes the 2015 DoD Cyber Strategy.
The Strategy focuses on securing sensitive information and
accelerating cyber capabilities for countering malicious cyber
actors. The DoD plans to build partnerships with private-sector
entities to support the Department's cybersecurity activities
and reduce malicious cyber activity targeting critical
infrastructure.
