Tim Lawson

Tim Lawson is a partner in Toronto and the National Practice Group Leader of McCarthy Tetrault’s Labour and Employment Group. Tim acts for many well-known Canadian and international companies operating in most sectors of the economy, including energy, financial, transportation, retail and construction. He has considerable expertise in the federal sector, where companies carry on business across provincial and national boundaries, under federal regulation.

Patrick Pengelly

Patrick Pengelly is a Partner in McCarthy Tétrault’s Labour & Employment Group in Toronto. Patrick represents clients in a variety of labour and employment issues including employment standards, wrongful dismissals, human rights, occupational health and safety, labour arbitrations, and employment issues arising in corporate transactions.

Marco Fimiani

Marco Fimiani is an associate in McCarthy Tétrault’s Labour & Employment Group in Toronto. He advises and represents clients regarding a variety of matters including labour arbitrations, employment standards, wrongful dismissals, occupational health and safety, and human rights. Marco works with clients in various industries, across the public and private sector, in both federal and provincial jurisdictions. 

Jessica Wuergler

Jessica Wuergler is an associate in McCarthy Tétrault’s Labour & Employment Group in Toronto. Jessica represents management in both the public and private sector, on a wide-range of labour, employment and human rights disputes, including grievance arbitrations, interest arbitrations, human rights applications, wrongful dismissal actions, and employment standards claims. She has represented both federally and provincially regulated employers before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, Ontario Labour Relations Board, Ontario Human Rights Tribunal, Canadian Human Rights Tribunal and in private dispute resolution.

Emilie Thibault

Émilie Thibault is an associate in McCarthy Tétrault’s Labour & Employment Group in Montréal. Her practice focuses on representing both federally and provincially regulated employers. Émilie advises clients from a variety of backgrounds and provides them with strategic and pragmatic input in complex situations involving human capital, particularly with regard to labour standards, employment contracts, collective labour relations, occupational health and safety, due diligence, as well as various issues related to discrimination and harassment in the workplace.
