Following the series of disasters affecting Japan, OHIM has extended time limits for Japanese companies and individuals.

OHIM (the Community Trade Mark Office) announced on 18th March 2011 that time limits which fell between 11th and 28th March 2001 in proceedings before the Office have been automatically extended until 28th April 2011. This applies to any case in which one of the parties is either domiciled in, or has a registered office in, Japan.
