NEW YORK, April 17, 2024 – Leading international law firm Proskauer is pleased to announce that partner Rob Freeman and associate Jordan Horowitz have been recognized in Variety Magazine's 2024 Legal Impact Report, which profiles the top entertainment and media lawyers across the country. Rob has been named one of the country's top corporate lawyers in the industry, and Jordan has been given the Up Next award, which is presented to next-generation lawyers making an impact in entertainment and media law.

Rob serves as co-head of Proskauer's Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) practice and is a member of the Firm's Sports group. For more than 25 years, he has structured and negotiated transactions that have shaped media and sports landscapes and has helped clients navigate continually changing business dynamics. Over the past year, Rob helped to launch multiple sports leagues and media properties, including League One Volleyball and tech-infused golf league, TGL; secured ground-breaking media rights deals for clients such as the Big 12 Conference, the Big 10 Conference and The CW Network; and closed multiple joint venture, M&A and investment transactions for clients, including Warner Bros. Discovery and Ziff Davis, an AI-focused initiative.

An associate in the Firm's TMT practice, Jordan advises corporate clients on transactions focused on media, sports, entertainment and technology. Her practice concentrates on commercial matters, including media and sports rights, sports betting and content distribution agreements, license agreements, joint ventures, strategic partnerships, and M&A. This past year, Jordan advised on several notable matters across sports and media, including the Big Ten Conference's $7 billion media rights deal and the WTA's extension and expansion of the partnership between WTA Ventures and Stats Perform.
