Arendt's Corporate Governance Centre is pleased to invite you to its 2024 webinar on the current trends, challenges and opportunities observed in corporate governance matters,with the cooperation and active support of ILA, the Luxembourg Association of Independent Directors.

Our experts will discuss two topics:

  • Bénédicte d'Allard (Senior Manager, Regulatory & AML/CFT Compliance) and Astrid Wagner (Partner, IP, Communication & Technology) will address recent developments in the context of cybersecurity and DORA and their impact on businesses and their governing bodies; and
  • Fouzia Benyahia (Partner, Corporate Law, Mergers & Acquisitions), Anastasia Marie-Hontaas (Director, Regulatory & AML/CFT Compliance) and Emmanuelle Mousel (Partner, Insurance & Reinsurance and Banking & Financial Services) will propose a multidisciplinary review of the practical considerations and challenges to bear in mind when implementing the rules on the assessment of the suitability of members of management bodies.

The session will be co-moderated by Carsten Opitz, Partner in our Corporate Law, Mergers & Acquisitions practice and Head of Arendt's Corporate Governance Centre (corpgov@arendt.com) and Philipp von Restorff, CEO at ILA.
