The new patent law 17.97 was published in the official Gazette on March 9, 2000. Until now and under the Law of 1916, patents filed in Morocco and whose annuities have not been paid on time may be recovered. Our Morocco Office will assist owners of patents who have not paid the 2nd, 3rd, 4th or any other annuity, to recover their patents. The new patent law which will become effective as of September 9, 2000 will not allow any late payments not effected within the grace period. For further information kindly contact our Morocco Office or our Regional Office in Jordan.
