Taft attorney Donnie Morgan authored the article "Thinking Hard: A Modest Step on Qualified Immunity," published in the May 2022 issue of The Circuit Rider, the Journal of the Seventh Circuit Bar Association. In it, he proposes a step that would better protect plaintiffs while also providing government officials and the lawyers advising them with greater clarity.
Morgan is a member of Taft's appellate practice and public law team. He has extensive experience advising elected officials and practicing at all levels of the federal and Indiana judicial systems, including work on appeals before the U.S. Supreme Court and the Indiana Supreme Court.
