An MSRB-proposed rule change to increase the professional fee for municipal advisors was published in the Federal Register. Comments must be submitted on or before October 21, 2019.

As previously covered, the assessment fee charged under MSRB Rule A-11 for each municipal advisor professional would increase from $500 to $1,000 over a two-year period. The change is immediately effective; however, the first amended payments are not due until April 30, 2020.
