  • On October 11, the House of Representatives passed a bill that aims to provide cybersecurity guidance to small businesses in the United States. The NIST Small Business Cybersecurity Act (H.R. 2105) would require the Department of Commerce's National Institute of Standards and Technology ("NIST") to issue voluntary cybersecurity guidelines that fit the needs of small businesses.
