Effective Date Set For FTC Amendments To Affiliate Marketing Rule

An FTC final rule amending requirements that allow a consumer to
prohibit the use of certain information obtained from affiliates
for customer solicitation was published in the Federal Register.
The amendments, which correspond to amendments to the Fair
Credit Reporting Act, go into effect on October 18, 2021.
