People are renting now more than ever because of the difficulty in getting mortgages and the lack of affordable housing. As such the landlord and tenant relationship is more prevalent than ever.

This relationship can break down and in circumstances where the tenant fails to pay the rent or is persistently late in doing so, this becomes a problem which can have a devastating and costly affect on the landlord. The landlord can themselves fall into arrears with their mortgage on the property with the possibility of being taken to Court in repossession proceedings.

At AER Solicitors & Co. we aim to help the landlord remove these problem tenants quickly and without further financial loss. Help is available to write letters before action, to draft and serve Notices, to issue Court proceedings and to finally instruct bailiffs to evict if necessary.

All of our fees are fixed so the landlord knows in advance exactly how much he is paying for a particular piece of work.

The content of this article is intended to provide a general guide to the subject matter. Specialist advice should be sought about your specific circumstances.
