The VERBIS registry deadlines were first postponed in December 2019 for having many faulty registrations. Now, the VERBIS deadlines have been extended again due to COVID-19. Postponements are as follows:
- The deadline for data controllers having more than 50 employees or an annual balance sheet total of more than TRY 25 million and data controllers residing abroad was close, on June 30th, one week from today. Now their deadline has been postponed to September 30th, 2020.
- The deadline for data controllers having less than 50 employees and an annual balance sheet total of less than TRY 25 million but their main field of operation is the processing of sensitive data (special categories of data) was September 30th, 2020. Now their deadline has been postponed to March 31st, 2021.
- The deadline for data controllers that are governmental institutions and organizations, the deadline was December 31, 2020. Now their deadline has been postponed to March 31, 2021.
