SyCip Salazar Hernandez & Gatmaitan (SyCipLaw) was named Philippine Law Firm of the Year at the 2022 International Financial Law Review (IFLR) Asia-Pacific Awards, presented in a recent virtual awarding ceremony.
SyCipLaw was also shortlisted in the Deal of the Year: M&A category for its work involving a $1.6B power deal aimed at leveraging the strengths of two leading energy providers in the region to promote clean and renewable electricity in the country.
The IFLR Asia-Pacific Awards recognizes the region's most innovative legal teams, deals and individuals in the region, after months of research, interviews, analysis and deliberation by the IFLR editorial team. The awards focused on innovation in cross-border work that reflected hard work and ingenuity, as well as transactions that set new legal precedent in the region.
