Mumbai, 10 November 2021: Lumiere Law Partners (formerly PDS Legal) has recently inducted Atulya Sharma as a Partner in the corporate law practice. Part of the firm's accelerating growth strategy and expansion plans, Atulya will advise clients on all aspects of corporate commercial laws regulatory matters, arbitration & litigation and focus on Structured Finance, Project Finance, ECM/DCM, restructuring, insolvency & bankruptcy, healthcare, infrastructure and M&A / PE.

Atulya has three decades of diverse work experience across cultures and in sectors such as Investment Banking, Structured Finance, Project Finance, Capital Markets (ECM & DCM), M&A, Private Equity, Restructuring, Infrastructure, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Anti Bribery & Anti-Corruption, Corporate Governance and Arbitration & Litigation. His work experience is equally divided on both sides of the legal profession i.e., in private practice and in-house.

He joins from Max Healthcare, where he was the Group General Counsel & Director (Legal, Compliance & Regulatory Affairs). Besides Max Healthcare, he was Global General Counsel for Apollo Tyres Group, Group General Counsel for Deutsche Bank AG (South Asia & Mauritius), Group General Counsel for IDFC and Senior Counsel with IFC (World Bank's Private Equity Arm). He was also a senior Partner with Indian law firms such as Desai & Diwanji and Dua Associates.

Atulya holds a post-graduate LLB from the Law Faculty (Delhi University), LPC from The College of Law (London), and a Master's in Law from City University (London).
