Partners Jessie Amunson and Marcus Childress are named among the Washingtonian's guide to the "500 Most Influential People Shaping Policy." The guide recognizes "experts and advocates, outside the government, who are playing big roles in Washington's policy debates."

Jessie, who co-chairs Jenner's Election Law and Redistricting Practice and the Appellate and Supreme Court Practice, is featured in the Voting Rights and Election Law section, which profiles influencers who "advocate for changes to how we elect our public servants." The Washingtonian highlights Jessie's success in beating back "a conservative effort to upend congressional redistricting" in Allen v. Milligan last year. In that case, the Jenner team wrote an amicus brief on behalf of computational redistricting experts and the Court relied heavily on the brief in ruling that Alabama's map violated the Voting Rights Act. Jessie described her legal opponents as trying to "radically reshape the law of democracy."

Marcus, a partner in Jenner's Government Controversies Practice and Co-Chair of the DEI Protection Task Force, is featured in the Legal Intelligentsia section, which profiles "legal minds who put their brainpower behind helping our government work better." The Washingtonian recognizes Marcus' services as an investigative counsel to the House Select Committee investigating the January 6 attack on the Capitol. In that role, Marcus conducted more than 60 depositions and interviews of key witnesses. In private practice, Marcus represents companies before Congress, and also helps them navigate litigation risks stemming from the Supreme Court's ruling on race-conscious admissions.
