MT+Co. is excited to announce our recent acquisition of NW Notaries + Lawyers (NWNL), a reputable New Westminster firm whose vision is to provide accessible and affordable legal solutions directly to real people.
This vision arose from our experience in launching MT Access – our 2020 initiative supporting entrepreneurs and small businesses through COVID with free resources and affordable fixed-price solutions. The NWNL initiative is the next step for us in our efforts to help bridge the access to justice gap – this time with personal legal services designed for individuals and families.
NW Notaries + Lawyers, formerly New West Notary Public, was founded by Martin Kastelein. He and his experienced team have served New Westminster and the lower mainland for over 34 years in real estate transfers, preparing wills, power of attorney, representation agreements, advanced directives, and other notarial services.
While Martin has retired from his role as a notary, he continues to act as an involved guide and mentor to our diverse and dynamic team.
The team is now led by managing notary and lawyer Angie Brar. Under her guidance, NWNL offers accessible and affordable services in real estate, estate planning, notarizations, and a range of corporate services.
While this practice operates independently from MT+Co., we are excited to support the NWNL vision and take steps together to help promote access to legal services.
