Mexico: Convention 108 And Its Additional Protocol Enters Into Force In Mexico

On October 1, the National Institute of Transparency, Access to Information and Protection of Personal Data (Instituto Nacional de Transparencia, Acceso a la Información y Protección de Datos Personales or "INAI") announced that Convention 108 of the Council of Europe and its Additional Protocol governing cross-border data flows went into effect in Mexico (source document in Spanish).
