Chilean firm Carey has helped Costa Rican private equity company Mesoamerica purchase a majority stake in Chilean fast food company Unifood.

The sellers, four individual shareholders of the company, turned to Albagli Zaliasnik for the acquisition.

The deal closed on 16 December with no value disclosed.
