SEBI vide circular⁵ dated November 27, 2019 has provided a detailed guideline in respect of a preferential issue of units and institutional placement of units by a listed REIT. The circular lays down the conditions for issuance of REIT units and a detailed explanation on the manner in which the REIT units can be issued on a preferential basis.
