The MSRB proposal to improve the information facility for the Electronic Municipal Market Access ("EMMA") System was published in the Federal Register. As previously covered, the proposal is intended to modernize and consolidate the EMMA information facility and harmonize it with the recently revised Real-Time Transaction Reporting System information facility.

While the rule change was approved by the SEC for immediate effectiveness, it will not become operative until January 10, 2019. Comments may continue to be submitted to the SEC until January 11, 2019.
