On 25 November 2015, MOFCOM issued No.64 Announcement of 2015,
in which MOFCOM approves the acquisition of all shares of Freescale
by NXP subject to conditions. MOFCOM believed that such
concentration might eliminate and restrict competition in the
global market of radio frequency power heterojunction bipolar
transistor ("RF power HBT"). Therefore,
MOFCOM required NXP to fully divest its RF power HBT
business.
