Canada's Trade Accelerator Program (TAP) is an innovative and dynamic program aimed at helping Manitoba's small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) overcome barriers to exporting. The WTC Winnipeg is pleased to offer TAP Canada in Manitoba, a program that is rapidly gaining momentum across Canada, and a reputation of achieving real results, fast.

Winter 2019 Program Dates

> February 15 > Application deadline
> February 27 & 28 > 2-day workshop (Export Readiness Training)
> March 7 > Full-day workshop (Export Plan)
> April 24 > Full-day workshop (Mentoring and Validation with Experts and Partners)

Eligibility Guidelines

The companies sought for TAP Canada participation should meet the following criteria:

Is already exporting a product, service or technology, but wishes to diversify its export markets
> – OR – Has taken exploratory steps to develop their business abroad
> Generates more than $500,000 in annual revenue
> Is willing to dedicate senior representatives to participate in all stages of the program
> Has a product, service or technology with a strong competitive advantage as a result of quality or patent protection
> Is a good corporate citizen devoid of corruption and environment and human rights violations
> Can share two years of financial statements with its application to demonstrate its solvency
