The article reported on Ottawa technology firm TPG Technology Consulting Ltd. suing five current and former members of the Competition Bureau after being acquitted in a criminal bid rigging case.
Michael said: "It's troubling. The officers at the Bureau need to be able to do their jobs free from the fear that a defendant who is successfully acquitted can then turn around and sue them for damages."
