The Valuer-General has announced that the statutory land valuations for Queensland will be issued from 28 March 2012.

The Valuer-General has also prepared and released a Market Movement Report on Queensland property values in association with the release of these statutory valuations.

As a landowner, what action do you need to take?

We recommend that as a landowner you instruct a property valuer to undertake a valuation of your property so that a determination can be made as to whether to lodge an objection against the valuation.

An objection must be "properly made" and given to the Valuer-General within 60 days after the day of issue.

Please contact us if you would like us to:

  • prepare your objection to be given to the Valuer-General; or
  • advise you on the requirements under the Act or the recommended steps set out above.
