Following a string of decisions in recent years – at the Federal Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court – that appeared to significantly increase the patentability threshold, the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, in Net MoneyIN Inc. v. VeriSign Inc., adjusted the anticipation rule in favor of the patentee.
