• Use Consistent Typeface to Represent Mark

• Provide Notice of Rights in Mark

- Unregistered marks: ™ or ℠

• Registered Marks: ® or “Registered in U.S. Patent and Trademark Office”

• Distinguish Mark from Surrounding Text by Using Different Type Style

• Place Mark Properly to Identify Goods or Services

- Goods: Place mark directly on goods (or on label or packaging)

- Services: Place mark on advertising or promotional materials
