Dickinson Wright PLLC is pleased to announce that Mark Walker (Member, El Paso) has been named a founding Leadership Cabinet Member of Paso del Norte Center at Meadows Mental Health Policy Institute in Texas. 

The Center, which launched in July 2021, is a part of the Meadows Institute and was established by a $1.5 million grant from the Paso del Norte Health Foundation. The objective of the Center is to build upon a series of significant improvements made to the region's mental health care systems over the past several years. 

"I'm truly honored to be a part of the founding Leadership Cabinet, many who are considered leading advocates on mental health policy and advocacy in the region. I look forward to working with my colleagues to continue to advance mental health awareness and initiatives in the Paso del Norte region," says Mark.

As a trial and appellate lawyer for over 30 years, Mark has more than 75 verdicts and 30 appeals to his credit. He counsels clients to assume that every case will go to trial, in order to put them in the best position to make informed decisions on a broad array of business, commercial, product liability, administrative, regulatory, and tort and negligence matters. Mark serves on the Board of Directors of Mental Health of America and is a former Member of the Texas Suicide Prevention Council. Mark is Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law since 1990, served on the examination commission of the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, and is a frequent speaker on litigation issues at state and national conferences.
