Prior to joining ML Strategies, Courtney was a partner with a DC public policy firm, where she helped clients in the energy and sustainability sector respond to federal and state challenges. Introduced to bolster ecosystem resilience, the bill passed with bipartisan support.

After launching her career as a litigation associate at a global law firm, Courtney served as an attorney with the Department of Interior and the Department of Justice, where she litigated matters pertaining to energy and natural resources. She earned her law degree, magna cum laude, from Tulane University and a BA from the University of Virginia.
