Adrienne Ferraro Mueller, a partner in Jones Day's Securities Litigation & SEC Enforcement Practice, was honored at Smart Business magazine's annual Smart Women Breakfast & Awards on October 7, 2021 in Cleveland, Ohio. The Smart Women Awards celebrate the achievements of leading businesswomen, inspiring male advocates, and effective women's programs. Ms. Mueller was named in the "Progressive Woman" category, which recognizes female executives or managers who have risen through the ranks in their career and overcome significant challenges along the way.

Ms. Mueller has amassed a broad range of experience defending companies and their officers and directors in securities and shareholder litigation in federal and state courts throughout the country. She regularly advises boards, committees, and senior management in connection with matters of corporate governance and government investigations, and she has conducted wide ranging internal investigations. In the M&A space, she aggressively defends against merger-related challenges threatening transformative deals. She is routinely named among The Best Lawyers in America and was recognized as a "Lawyer of the Year" for "Litigation - Securities" by Best Lawyers in 2021.

Ms. Mueller, who has spent her entire legal career at Jones Day, currently serves as Administrative Partner for Jones Day's Cleveland Office. She previously served as the office's Hiring Partner, the Summer Program Chair, a member of the office's Diversity, Inclusion, and Advancement Committee, and a member of the Firm's Associate Training Committee. Beyond the Firm, she is a member of the board of directors of the Cleveland Rape Crisis Center, and was previously a member of the board of directors of Blessing House and of the Family Services Committee supporting the Ronald McDonald House of Cleveland. She has been named to the Leadership Cleveland Class of 2022.
