In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, please join Buchanan's Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer, Lloyd Freeman, for a virtual fireside chat with Pedro Suriel, Vice President, Diversity and Inclusion, Raymond James Financial and Victoria Méndez, City Attorney, City of Miami. The three will discuss Critical Race Theory from the Latinx perspective, including experiences unique to the Latinx community such as immigration status, language, ethnicity, and culture. While the national conversation around CRT has been largely focused on the Black-white binary, the Latinx point of view is an important one with many dimensions of diversity embedded within it.
