DENVER (December 3, 2020) – Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie LLP announced Jack (Jay) L. Mankamyer has joined the firm's Business Transactions Practice Group as a partner in the Denver office.

Mankamyer, an experienced real estate lawyer, represents developers, purchasers, sellers, investors and lenders in complex commercial real estate transactions. His practice includes representing commercial and residential property purchase and sale negotiations, entitlement and financing of developer projects, management of commercial leases, loan negotiation and construction contracts. He also counsels clients on ski resort operational and development matters. Along with his legal experience, Mankamyer has a master's degree in business administration with an emphasis in real estate and a master's of law in taxation, which provides him the opportunity to further assist clients and their legal needs from a business perspective.

Mankamyer is also an adjunct professor at the University of Colorado where he teaches a course in Real Estate Law in the MBA program at the Leeds School of Business. He has also been recognized as a Colorado Super Lawyers Rising Star. Mankamyer received his J.D. from the University of Colorado, School of Law, his M.B.A. from the University of Colorado, Leeds School of Business, his LL.M. degree from the University of Denver, Strum College of Law and his B.A., cum laude, from Georgetown University.
