We are pleased to announce our representation of ReNew Power group, one of India's largest renewable energy companies in its platform investment cum joint venture with Petronas to develop a series of next-generation and transitional renewable energy projects involving hybrid, round-the-clock power and storage-enhanced peak power solutions of the ReNew Group. The first investment by Petronas (aggregating to USD 73 million) in this combined initiative was utilized to fund ReNew Power's 480 MW hybrid peak power project in Karnataka.
The Kochhar Delhi (NCR) team comprising of Senior Partners Pradeep Ratnam and Chandrashekhar Tampi, Principal Associate Samad Ali, Senior Associate Priyadarshinee Singh, and Associate Shivam Khanna advised ReNew Power on all aspects of the transaction including transaction structuring and drafting, negotiating and finalizing transaction documents and other legal formalities in relation to the pre-closing and post-closing aspects of the transaction.
